By accessing or using NALEO Educational Fund: Virtual Learning Lab,
you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not
agree to these Terms, you should not use the Platform.
You must be at least [18] years old to use the Platform. By using the Platform, you represent that you meet all eligibility requirements.
To access certain features, you may be required to create an account. You agree to:
• Provide accurate and current information
• Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials
• Be responsible for all activity under your account
• Notify us immediately of unauthorized account access
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
You agree to use the Platform only for lawful educational purposes and in
accordance with these Terms.
You agree not to:
- Copy, distribute, or reproduce
course materials without permission
- Share account credentials with
others
- Attempt to gain unauthorized
access to systems or data
- Upload harmful, offensive, or
illegal content
- Interfere with platform
functionality or security
All content on the Platform, including courses, videos, text, graphics,
logos, software, and learning materials, is owned by or licensed to NALEO
Educational Fund and protected by intellectual property laws.
Users are granted a limited, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to
access and use materials for personal educational purposes only.
If the Platform offers paid memberships or subscriptions:
- Fees must be paid in accordance
with stated pricing terms
- Payments may renew automatically
unless canceled
- Refund policies will be
communicated separately where applicable
Failure to make payments may result in suspension or termination of
access.
If users submit assignments, comments, discussions, or other content:
• You retain ownership of your content
• You grant us a non-exclusive license to use, display, and store such content for educational and operational purposes
• You are responsible for ensuring your content does not violate laws or third-party rights
We strive to maintain reliable access to the Platform but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Platform at any time without liability.
The Platform and all content are provided “as is” and “as available”
without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
We do not guarantee:
- Specific educational outcomes
- Continuous platform availability
- Error-free content or services
To the maximum extent permitted by law, NALEO Educational Fund shall not
be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive
damages arising from:
- Use of or inability to use the
Platform
- Loss of data or educational
records
- Unauthorized account access
- Errors or interruptions in
service
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless NALEO Educational Fund, its
affiliates, employees, and partners from any claims, damages, liabilities, or
expenses arising from your use of the Platform or violation of these Terms.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Platform
at our discretion, including for violations of these Terms.
Upon termination, provisions relating to intellectual property, liability
limitations, and dispute resolution shall survive.
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the
laws of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.
We may revise these Terms periodically. Updated Terms will be posted on
this page with a revised effective date.
Continued use of the Platform after changes become effective constitutes
acceptance of the revised Terms.

NALEO and NALEO Educational Fund are separate nonprofit organizations — NALEO as a 501(c)(4) membership association and NALEO Educational Fund as a 501(c)(3) charitable organization — that work together collaboratively as strategic partners to the extent permissible by applicable law. Each organization maintains its own independent governance and finances, respecting the tax status, formal distinctions and legal separateness between the 501(c)(4) and 501(c)(3) entities.
